First Sledding of the Year

We've had so much snow in such a short time we decided to save a trip to the sledding hill and made one in our own yard instead, the kids had so much fun it was a fight to get them to come into the house.

Digging up our hill

Mom YES I can eat the snow AND it tastes good!

Carter literally bit the dust on this run!

Pileup!

All sleddings days should end with a cup of luke warm chocolate!

Paper Chains!

While the kids were home sick today we did a project that I was excited to do for the holidays, and the kids really enjoyed it too, they were the tapers on the project, and they did really well!

They wanted to decorate their rooms with the chains.

Olivia was VERY precise as to where her chain must go! LOL

A Visit with Santa!

We got our pictures with Santa pretty early this year. But the kids were ready to talk to him and tell him what they wanted, Liv wants Hello Kitty and Carter wanted Spiderman. LOL

A Crisp Walk and some Fun

Last Sunday before the big storm hit we went for a walk down in fish creek park. It was nice to just get out in nature, and we decided we want to do it more.

Throwing rocks on the little bit of ice that had formed.
Our silly family.
That nite the kids were FULL of energy, we don't really allow jumping on the beds and such but they were having so much fun jumping into the blankets we couldn't help but let them do it for a little bit.

Christmas Lights and Outside Playtime

Earlier in November when we were having the beautiful weather we decided to put up the Christmas lights ahead of the snow. It was so nice that the kids didn't really even need their jackets to play.

Chanelling Harry Potter and a game of Quidich while helping rake the leaves.

The kids were looking for snow flakes as we were trying to explain why we were putting up the Christmas lights even tho Christmas was so far away and there was no snow.

At one point we thought about just leaving them in the back yard on the ground :)
Cy up on the roof doing the man work, I wanted to do it but he said no way!
So I got the low window and the porch instead.

Guess Who!!

Carter came home from the dayhome a couple weeks ago in this outfit, I had to laugh, he was the spitting image of Olivia! The pictures on the left are Carter the one on the right is Olivia!

School Pictures!

We got Liv's school pictures back and she did a great job of smiling, these are my two favorites!

Halloween

We
We did a halloween party for the kids this year, and at this moment I can't find my pictures, they're on a different memory card, but this is the only picture I had on my computer, so here are all the gests from the party, more pictures to eventually follow of the party and Halloween day too!

The cute ghost we made with a milk jug and glow sticks.
