The First Week
Our first week as a family of four has been interesting at times, hard, easy, fun and scary....all in 7 days YIKES! But we're working on things and getting used to each other (ok, more like Olivia getting used to having a baby brother and sharing mom and dad)

Welcome Baby Carter
Thursday June 12th @ 1:38pm weighing in at 7 lbs 10 ounces and 20 " long Carter Mak was brought into the world....(rather quickly if you ask me! LOL) He was 9 days overdue and we were rather impatient to meet him. It's been a wild ride these last 5 days now that we're a family of 4, but I wouldn't change it for the world!

The Grocery Cart & The Dog Bed
Every morning when we come downstairs liv brings her stuffies and blankie and she puts them in her shopping cart and pushes them around the house, and then inevitably ends up in the dog bed with them.
She spends more time in the dog bed than they do or if the dogs are in it she'll try and climb in with them but ends up taking up too much room so they leave.

These beautiful summer outfits are SO adorable and fit Liv perfectly. I can't wait till it's warm enough again for her to wear them, stupid rain!!!

Blinkie Shoes
Olivia just got her first pair of blinkie shoes the other day. She thought they were pretty cool, I took them out of the box and showed her that they blinked when you hit them with your hands, so of course she was hitting them all over everything, so I figured it was safer for me to put them on her feet instead, she had a blast running around the house trying to watch the blinking lights hahaha.
Gimli trying to check out her shoes too.

The Joys of Pregnancy
Playing in the Backyard
Olivia LOVES playing outside, she's always grabbing her shoes and trying to put them on and then standing at the back door. Her wagon is her favorite toy in the backyard, everytime we're outside that's the first thing she goes to. And she's always trying to pull her toys around in it, so Daddy decided that he wanted a turn.
Liv tried pretty hard to give daddy a ride.
But she ended up needing a break.
Playing with her puppies.

Investigating Mom's Belly
Liv knows mom has a big belly, but I'm not sure if she's quite realizing that there's a baby in there. We pat my tummy and say baby and she pats her tummy and says baby too LOL. She wanted to investigate my belly the other morning and I think she was trying to poke the baby thru my bellybutton, or at least she thinks it goes somewhere cause she was trying with all her might to get thru (it hurt too!!!).
Hugs for her baby brother.
