Liv's new Big Girl Room!

We're not sure it's going to be an easy transition, but we figured that we'd give liv a new big girl bedroom instead of re-doing the one she was in since it was so gender neutral, so here are our pics of the new room, we've been playing in it every chance we get so she'll get used to being in there, we still need to add some room darkening blinds and the bars for the stupidly low window (my bone of contention with builders!!!) and then we're ready for her to move in. She really likes playing in her tent and getting on and off the bed and so we hope she'll take to it quickly...hopefully!

First Steps!!!

Olivia took her first steps today! She's been standing up and waving her arms for a couple weeks but no steps. But today she walked from me to the ottoman and then was going to walk from daddy to me but the dog got in the way and knocked her down lol. We were so excited and shocked that we didn't even get a chance to take pictures! So hopefully we'll have some in the coming days.

Olivia's 1st Birthday - Actual Day

We had two birthday parties for Liv, one was her big birthday party in November with all her family and friends and then we had a quiet birthday dinner on her actual birthday. These are from her actual birthday day. She got to open her gift from mom and dad, it was a drum set, she LOVED the drum sticks, she uses them on anything but the drum! And then we had her first ice cream cake, she liked the taste but didn't like how it made her hands cold!

First Halloween

Our little monkey dressed up as none other than....A Monkey! Both cyrus and I were laughing in the store when we put her in it, and it totally suits her personality so we couldn't resist. We only went to Grandma and Grandpa Favreau's house and then to Auntie Carrie and Uncle Dave's (that's where the good candy was!) We had fun but Olivia was getting a cold so we had to cut the night short, she had fun tho and daddy sure enjoyed her candy!

10 Months

As you can tell in the picture our little olivia does not like sitting in this chair anymore, even when she's strapped in she try's to do a header off the front!

Olivia has changed a lot in the last month, she's crawling, only on the carpet tho, she doesn't really like crawling on the laminate cause it hurts her little knees! (Diva!) She is constantly pulling herself up onto everything and has started to shuffle along the furniture. Last night she decided she would attempt going up the stairs, she made it up four of them before she decided she was too tired and tried to sit down. Her birthday is coming way to quickly, I can't believe she'll be a year soon!

All I want for Christmas is my....

Two bottom front teeth!!! Liv's teeth are finally starting to come in. Her two little ones so far haven't fully come in yet, but they've broke thru the gums so she's a normal kid again, not this crazy little devil child! LOL

We're at the 9 Month Mark

Our crazy little monkey is 9 months old. And as you can tell in these pictures, she's rather mobile and doesn't like being tied down, it was a fight to get these pictures LOL!

She's not crawling yet.....

But I couldn't help but stage this photo, cause she's SO darn close, we have to show her how to be on her knees, prop them up and such, she stays there for a bit, rocks back and forth then plops down onto her tummy. It looks so weird seeing her in this picture, growing up so quickly, it's sad, but happy too!

8 Months Old

As I say every month, time is flying by! Our little girl is already 8 months old! She's not quite crawling yet, she's a bum scootcher, but if you hold your hands steady she pulls herself up. I have a feeling she wants to skip crawling and go straight to walking, she much more prefers to be on her feet. (And I couldn't help but take her monthly picture in her pj's I just love these ones.)

7 Months and Holding

Our little princess is already 7 months old. She's getting really good at sitting up, she only falls over once in while. We're re working on re-training her to sleep thru the nite. Apparently when she hit 6 months she decided that sleeping thru the nite was for babies and she's a big girl now, big girls get up 2 or 3 times a nite!!! (ugh!) Otherwise she's doing fabulous, she's squeezing out the hair, it's slowly coming, we can't quite put a barrette in it yet...soon tho!! She likes to get frustrated when she can't do something, all of us are learning with this one, she'll grunt and screech when something doesn't go her way, some days it's cute....others...not so cute. She's just growing up way too fast!!!

6 Months Old !!!

I can't believe that Olivia is already half a year old! It seems like yesterday that I was still pregnant and couldn't wait to get her out. Now somedays I wish I could put her back in! JJ. Our little princess is now sitting up a lot, she's still not quite steady and will topple over without a seconds notice. But she's not doing to bad. She likes to sing and talk a lot (just like her mom) And peekaboo is her favorite game. She's not quite teething yet but she drools like a faucet! LOL, she's singing to me while I type this hahaha.

She's Sitting....kinda...

Yes, she's sitting, but steady she ain't! But nonetheless she's sitting on her own, when I prop her up with pillows she just gets annoyed with them so we enter into boo boo stage, specially when she gets excited and arches her back and sails backwards before mommy can catch her (ya we don't like that one very much!) but she's really starting to enjoy her independence now, if she could figure out how to roll off her tummy onto her back again, she'd be packing her bags and up the street!

5 Months and counting....

Time flies when your having fun, and we've been having a ton of fun. So here we are and almost a year has passed since Olivia was born! I'm just in awe of her, she's such an amazing little munchkin, she surprises me everyday.

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin....

Olivia Rolled Over!!! The little munchkin was trying to get away from me while I was playing dressup with her (making sure her new clothes fit) and she rolled over, it took a second to register in my brain, then all of a sudden I yelled, SHE ROLLED OVER!!! I scared the poop outta Cy who was sitting in the same room LOL. So of course we sat there with the camera waiting and it wasn't long before she did it again. Although she has encountered one problem, once she rolls over she's lying on one of her arms and can't get it out from under her LOL. I'm so proud of our little girl, I'm almost weepy! (Don't worry, we didn't let her roll off the ottoman, even though it looks like she's gonna go for it LOL)

4 Months Already!

Look at me, I'm four months old, aren't I precious! Actually it looks like she's already starting to pose for the camera LOL. Her personality is taking shape more and more each day, she's really laid back like her daddy, she loves to laugh and play and is starting to be a ham for the camera (she's forced to be, the poor thing has the camera in her face 24/7).

Oh So Close....

Olivia is SO close to rolling over. I put her on her blankie from Auntie Nicky today so I could take a picture to show everyone, when you put her on her back she pushes with her left leg and kinda balances with her head and sholder, she just needs a little push and she's over. I've tried showing her how to throw her leg over but she just thinks I'm playing and giggles at me. Oh yes, she's giggling now too, forgot to post about that one. It's this rather funny sounding screech/giggle noise, but it's darn cute. She's changing every day, the baby is slowing slipping away and the toddler is emerging...how the heck did she grow so quickly? Where was I when she was doing this !

3 Months & Counting !

Time flies when your having fun, and also when you have a baby! The first 2 months were a haze as they blew by, but thankfully this last month took a bit longer to go by so I really got to enjoy the little changes everyday. Olivia is holding her head up 99.9% of the time all by herself, she's a little wobbly when she wakes up but who isn't!! She loves reading her squishy books and sitting in her bounce and rock chair and she's talking....ALL THE TIME!! She's just like her mom, can't keep her mouth shut, right daddy!

OUCH, That Hurts !!!

So this past week Olivia had her first shots. Needless to say, I was more terrified than she was. I'm proud of myself, I didn't cry, but I sure wanted to! She got three needles, two in one hip and one in the other. She SCREAMED at me, she was so mad, I swear that she's gonna remember this when she's older!!! And everyone told us they'd have this bell that we could ring that would distract her from her crying.....um ya, WHAT BELL??? No bell for us, nothing, nadda, just me holding back my tears as this lady punctures my babies hips with a needle the size of a crayon!! ok, well it wasn't that big, but pretty darn close.

But I'm glad to report that she didn't have any side effects, no fever or anything. Her hips didn't even seem to be sore the next day. So hopefully next time her shots will go better, less crying and preferably a smaller needle :)

Already 2 Months Old !

I cannot believe that Olivia is already 2 months old. Time has completely flown by! Everyday she's changing, I forget most of the time that she's so young still, she's very determined to hold up her head all by herself, she does it about 90 % of the time. We have conversations several times a day now, when she talks it's SO funny! And she smiles....LOTS! She's a very happy and content baby! She's too tall for most of her 0-3 month clothes, so we're buying 3-6 month clothes already and they fit perfectly, it's crazy! And she gets her 2 month shots on February 28th. I'm certainly not looking forward to it, I think I'll cry more than she will!
