Tik Tok

Tik Tok came on the radio by Ke$ha and it's one of Liv's favorite songs, so she broke out in dance.

Sprinkler Fun!

The kids love playing in the water, so we pulled out the sprinkler and let them at it.

First Geocache

We tried our hand at Geocaching with the kids a couple weeks ago, we tried three different ones and only found one, but when your not sure what your looking for it's can be kind of hard! Nonetheless we all had fun.

We found it!

Unrolling the name list.

writing our names and the date we found it.

Woah Fireworks!!!

We took the kids to their first fireworks tonight, we had so much fun, Olivia kept calling out each color as they went off, and Carter just kept saying "ohhh pretty!!"

All comfy in the van

We ended up sitting on the grass, next time we won't forget the bug spray!

Birthday Presents and Dolphins

Carter received a last minute birthday present from some friends of ours tonight, it was utter chaos while mom tried to put the track together (and figure out what the heck some of the pieces were for, you'd figure it's straight forward but not for my brain!) LOL The kids had a fantastic time playing with it, so now we've got a great rainy day toy!

The kids played a game at the stampede and won dolphins, I had to take a picture, they were riding them in the living room, so funny!

The Science Centre

We haven't been down to the science centre in a long time. So we took the kids down this past week, they have the legoland showcase going on, I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or daddy!

Carter using the telescope to see the big lego display

The best part of the lego was that they had a build your own lego racer complete with a race track. The kids had a blast, and with a little help from daddy they made some great racers!

Liv was so proud of her racer, this was the maiden voyage...

and unfortunately, this was it's only voyage!

Carter was pretty proud of his racer to, he really wanted to take it home with him.

The cool mood wall, with each of our handprints.

A race car completely made out of lego, so cool!

Trip to The Cabin Day # 3

Day # 3 wasn't as warm as the previous days, so we went into Cutknife and wandered around their community park, we went a fed the geese/fish and visited the worlds largest Tomahawk.

Carter feeding the geese

I said geese/fish before cause you throw bread out to the geese and the fish in the pond will literally jump out of the water and grab the bread before the geese can get near it, it was like piranah's

The park had historic little buildings and railways and such for the kids to wander around.

That's a BIG Tomahawk!

They had this really big, really old swing set, I love this picture of Liv swinging.

My favorite shot of Carter walking down the railroad

The adorable / stupid baby birds that distracted me!! They were so cute we were all watching them and taking pictures and carter wanted to get closer, REALLY close, he chose the one spot on the dock that was missing the bottom part of the railing and almost fell in, we all had a heart attack but we was fine, just scared at our reaction and yelling! LOL.

The cousins

Good vs. Evil ? Father vs. Son ? Darth vs. Luke?

Then he turned the noodle on me!

Carter was so exhausted from the last three days that he didn't even make it till supper.

Dayton has a hamster called Bear, Carter wasn't so sure of him at first but warmed up after a bit.

The girls didn't come up from playing in the sand till about 9:30, they were SO dirty and SO tired!
