The Pasta Strainer

I never said my kids were normal!!!

Olivia loves the tupperware cupboard, it's her cupboard to play in and make a mess of. Yesterday she took out the strainer and decided it was a hat......she's our crazy little monkey!!!

Stampede 2008

We didn't end up taking too many pictures while we were at the grounds, we didn't even get one of Carter but these are the few we did take.

This is Olivia's very first ride, if you take a good look at the picture she's very VERY mad, the ride hadn't even started yet, she was upset cause dad was keeping her in her seat, she wanted to stand up.

And this is while the ride is moving, the instant the ride started she was all smiles, we're so proud we have a thrill ride daughter, just like her mom and dad!

Olivia riding the merry go round, I'm on there holding her, you just can't see me.

A picture of Trudy, Megan & Taylor riding the big slide.

And this is just before we put Olivia in the van, she was exhausted, we were only on the grounds for a couple hours but it pooped her out (pooped mom and dad out too!)

Carter & Olivia around the house

These are just some pictures I've taken of the kids around the house this past week.

My little macho man!

You can't really tell in this picture but he's got beautiful brown/blue/grey eyes (I guess that makes them hazel???) we hope they stay that way, the rest of us all have brown eyes.

Chillaxing with his bottle of purple...something.

A tasteful bath shot ;)

When I went in to get olivia up the other morning this is what I found, it's a t-shirt, but she made it into this very fashionable top, I have NO idea how she did it. I swear she'll be a fashion diva!

Olivia playing dress up with her rain jacket and her hat from last winter that doesn't fit anymore.

Carter showing off his cute overalls that we got from Emma's Mom (one of my surrogate moms)

The last week and a half.....

Instead of doing a bunch of posts I'm just gonna do one big one to update everyone, it's been a busy week and a half since our last post. Cy's gone back to work and we're coping.....I'm coping....kind of...LOL. We're adjusting well, Carter is FINALLY done his growth spurt so the cluster feeding has stopped, both liv and I are happy that he's no longer on my lap every 45 minutes!!!! :) These are some picures of our happenings:

Olivia driving her cozy coupe that my sister handed down to us, Liv LOVES her car!!!

Checking to make sure she has enough gas.

My little awake man.

The monster mash! LOL

Typical Olivia lately, she's rather put out by her brother. This too shall pass...right???? LOL

Carter watching his fishies swim around his head.

Olivia showing Carter how to use my cell phone

Carter trying to eat my cell phone.

Olivia giving Carter the finer points of multi-tasking the cell phone and the remote control.

The First Week

Our first week as a family of four has been interesting at times, hard, easy, fun and scary....all in 7 days YIKES! But we're working on things and getting used to each other (ok, more like Olivia getting used to having a baby brother and sharing mom and dad)

Carter playing in the wagon with his sister

Sorry kiddo, you better get used to the camera being in your face, it's gonna happen a lot!!

The first couple days at home

Here are a couple pictures from our first days at home with Carter, we're all still alive and kicking, very sleep deprived but alive!

Welcome Baby Carter

Thursday June 12th @ 1:38pm weighing in at 7 lbs 10 ounces and 20 " long Carter Mak was brought into the world....(rather quickly if you ask me! LOL) He was 9 days overdue and we were rather impatient to meet him. It's been a wild ride these last 5 days now that we're a family of 4, but I wouldn't change it for the world!
