Mr. Penguin
We found Mr. Penguin a couple days ago, we'd left the bucket of sidewalk chalk in the front hall and we don't think the dogs have the ability to draw...this well! We also didn't realize that Olivia could draw a penguin!! We couldn't get mad cause it was so cute and so well done!
Trip to The Cabin Day # 3
Day # 3 wasn't as warm as the previous days, so we went into Cutknife and wandered around their community park, we went a fed the geese/fish and visited the worlds largest Tomahawk.
Carter feeding the geese

I said geese/fish before cause you throw bread out to the geese and the fish in the pond will literally jump out of the water and grab the bread before the geese can get near it, it was like piranah's

The park had historic little buildings and railways and such for the kids to wander around.

That's a BIG Tomahawk!

They had this really big, really old swing set, I love this picture of Liv swinging.

My favorite shot of Carter walking down the railroad

The adorable / stupid baby birds that distracted me!! They were so cute we were all watching them and taking pictures and carter wanted to get closer, REALLY close, he chose the one spot on the dock that was missing the bottom part of the railing and almost fell in, we all had a heart attack but we was fine, just scared at our reaction and yelling! LOL.

The cousins

Good vs. Evil ? Father vs. Son ? Darth vs. Luke?

Then he turned the noodle on me!

Carter was so exhausted from the last three days that he didn't even make it till supper.

Dayton has a hamster called Bear, Carter wasn't so sure of him at first but warmed up after a bit.

The girls didn't come up from playing in the sand till about 9:30, they were SO dirty and SO tired!

Trip to The Cabin Day # 2
Day #2 was just as beautiful, we spend the entire day down at the water, what a great way to spend the day!
These pictures are out of order, these were taking in the evening when a huge storm rolled in, it went around us but it was pretty intense.
Off my sisters dock

Crazy Storm Clouds

Swirling clouds

Buddy started out his day chewing on what looked like the leg of a goat! His bone was huge!

The view from the deck

Olivia and Danni relaxing before breakfast

Playing on the surf board

Carter and Dayton playing in the reeds

Carter and Danni fishing with reeds

Our super cute baby frogs we caught and then let go, the kids loved them.

Trip to The Cabin Day # 1
We had two weeks holidays in July and we took an extended weekend and too the kids up to my sisters cabin on Atton's Lake up near Cutknife, SK.
We stopped in Innisfail on our way up and grabbed some timmies, the kids eyes were the size of saucers when they saw the sprinkle doughnuts so I figured we're on a road trip, why not. Well they ended up only eating the sprinkles and left the doughnuts, go figure!

I had to take a picture of my blueberry fritter, it was the most messy, amazing blueberry fritter I've ever had from timmies, SO GOOD!!!

We stopped in Viking so we could take a pic of the "Home of the Sutters" Cy was so excited to share it with the kids, it'll be more special when Carter is old enough to understand, especially since he's ALL about the Hockey!

We have the record for taking the longest time to get up to the cabin, we stopped so many times because of bathroom breaks for Olivia and just giving the kids time to walk around it felt like it took us two days! But as soon as we got there, we literally stripped them out of their clothes, put them in their suits and got them down to the water. We spent the rest of the day in the water, it was so fun and a great way to end a long day.
This is Olivia taking her very first boat ride with my sisters neighbours and my nieces.

Carter loved the "island", it had a mesh bottom in the middle that let the water in, and he tried to fish out of there.

Danni taking Olivia out to the island.

taking a turn on the turtle.

Daddy and Carter on the island.

We ended day one with a marshmallow roast, Carters first (at least his first that he was old enough to eat one)

Renee found the worlds largest marshmallows at Wal-Mart, they're HUGE, and she only had three left, she roasted two at once and we lost one to the fire but she sacraficed her hand to save the second one, but was left with a heck of a mess, she didn't do very well getting it off her self so she let the dog do it instead, worked much better!
