First Visit to Calaway Park

As a family we've never been to Calaway, we weren't sure if the kids would be able to get on the rides being so young, but when I won some tickets on the radio we figured we had to check it out. We had SO much fun, Cy and I got to ride a bunch of the rides too and it brought us back to being kids and going to Calaway ourselves.

Waiting for our car

Carter chaufering us thru the park

hahaha, Olivia riding the mini "Ocean Motion"

Riding the bouncy buggies

Riding the train that goes around the back of the park, this was one of carters favorite rides

My drama girl pouting cause she wanted to sit in a different seat LOL

To make liv happy we gave her our camera so she could take some shots of our train ride, she got a couple really good ones, and a bunch that are of grass and clouds and the people in front of us LOL.

Love this self shot that liv took of her and carter.

My thrill seeker riding the kids roller-coaster.

We took daddy for his first family trip to Heritage park this week. We had beautiful weather and we had a great time.

My son the Dog

I really enjoy it when the kids get along and play together but I'm not so sure if this was playing together or Olivia taking control LOL.

This was the first time we pulled the pool out this summer, the kids just love playing and swimming and hanging out all day in it.

Stampede 2011

We took the kids down to the stampede grounds this past sunday for our annual trip. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time but were very exhausted by the time we got home, we ended up staying for 8 hours, we completely lost track of time but it was well worth the exhaustion!

Riding the train to the grounds, bright and early

Liv's first ride of the day

I wanted to get a picture of Carter on the kiddie ferris wheel, it didn't go over well, he didn't like not being right beside me LOL.

Cy enjoying his ride on the monster trucks LOL

Such a change from last year, Carter was SO excited to go on rides this year, it was so much fun to watch him!

Playing whack a mole

By far we really enjoyed the roosters just outside the barns, they were very cool to watch, they also had little ducks (more like toddlers than babies) in with the roosters, Liv LOVED them, wanted to take one home LOL.

Cater couldn't wait to see the miniature donkeys, they were very cute, there was a super fuzzy one and I wanted to take him home!

Posing infront of an old fire wagon

traditional picture of my family members riding the missile, I think it's my turn next year LOL

Trying on some helmets, very cute

Testing out a sniper rifle

Liv couldn't wait to ride the swings, she's too small for the ones at Heritage Park so she was super excited that she was tall enough for these.

My biker dude and dudette

Carter making sure that Liv is driving on the track LOL.

Riding the bee's
