Ice Cream Day

A couple weeks ago (not right now with all this snow!) but when we had a nice day on the weekend we took the kids down to Lick's Ice Cream (Cy and I's favorite place from when we were dating) and got some yummy cones and then went for a walk down by the river, sadly by the river it was a bit windy but still nice to get out in the sun and get some fresh air.

My Big Girl

I couldn't believe how much older Olivia looked when I put this top on and then put the clip in her hair, she got this top for her first birthday from her Grandma Luu and we've been impatiently waiting for it to fit and now that it does I want her to wear it all the time! And her hair's finally long enough for a clip but she'd much rather have me put it in and then her take it out a million times instead of just leaving it in! hahaha.

Carter fell asleep on our way home from Grandma Luu's house last week and he was so cute we had to take a picture.

Olivia loves her rain jacket and boots, she put them on the other morning and I couldn't help but laugh when she kept "flashing" me.

Toddler Tunes

Today we went to a Toddler Tunes concert at the Deer Run Community Center. It's a couple and their young kids that put this on, it's a fun cheap outting and the guy is really good on the guitar too! The kids had so much fun, they get you to dance and play instruments, swing fairy wants and twirl and jump. And they sing lots of great songs and then they give the kids a snack. Today's theme was St. Patricks Day so olivia got to wear a St. Patricks fairy tiara (she was sad to leave it behind, but what a great idea for mommy to make in the future!)

Olivia always wants to play in the crib when we go to get Carter up from his naps, so I put them in and they had lots of fun rolling around and squishing each other.
