We had our friend Jen take some family pictures for us this past weekend down in fish creek park. We got so lucky with the beautiful weather and she got some fantastic shots! Thanks again Jen!!!

First Trip to Spruce Meadows

We've lived 2 minutes from Spruce Meadows for five years now and we've never gone to an event, so thanks to a friends suggestion our eyes were opened to how cool it is over there, specially for the kids! We took our nieces and the kids over to check it out and had a great time.

We'd been in trouble since stampede week, cause we'd gone to a breakfast and they'd closed down the pony rides before liv got a chance, so this time she went twice to make up for it and had a great time!





















I couldn't believe that Carter actually wanted to take a ride, he was terrified of the hourses when we were walking thru the barns, but because the pony's are so small he thought they were cute LOL

First Day of Preschool!

Today was Liv's first day of Preschool, she was excited, and a little apprehensive, she did great, had lots of fun and even brought home some art, and of course a little homework for mommy!

New Boots and a Halloween Party!

I did my back to school shopping for live a while ago, and I hid the bags in my closet, so this morning when I took them out I found there were a couple things I'd totally forgotten that I'd bought. Carter had a bunch of new shirts and each of the kids had a new pair of winter rubber boots, oops!

Carters are little dragons with fins on the front and a tail sticking out the back, he wore them all day and even brought them up to my bed and put them under my pillow when I was getting ready LOL.











Liv loves her "fancy" boots, they're fuzzy inside and "very cool"!











Liv picked up my New Canadian Family magazine I got, she saw the halloween stuff on the cover and started picking out all the spooky food she wants me to make, I feel a Halloween Party coming on!

Bumpa's Birthday

We went out to Sundre this past weekend to celebrate "Bumpa's" Birthday (Grandpa) and visit with my sister who we haven't seen since our trip to the cabin in July.

Carter won't ride on the swings no matter what we do, he hates them. But he wanted to hang off my legs while I was swinging so this is what we've come up with.
