Just Like Mommy!!!

So ya, Carter found some Diego tattoo's in one of our DVD's the other day, and the kids were so excited to put them on, Carter wanted them on his hands and arms, but Olivia, being MY little girl, "Mommy, I want one on my back like YOU!" Oh Lord, it's already started!! I might be regretting some of my decisions in my past! LOL.

Dragon Dog!

Our poor dogs put up with a lot of crap, this is gimly bravely trying on Carters halloween costume. And when I say bravely, I mean, not moving an inch because of embarrasement!

Pumpkin Carving

We've spent the last three Halloweens out in Airdrie with my sisters family but we still like to do the traditional decorating and carving, we carved up our four pumpkins today and come next sunday they may not look very pretty but it was a fun day!!

Daddy was the muscle behind our operation

I thought it was a great idea to put the kids to work pulling out all the pumpkin seeds, kids like ooey gooey things right!? WRONG!! Carter took out two seeds and immediately started gagging, full out wretching! Poor kid got my gag reflex! LOL so nonetheless mommy and olivia did the seed picking.

Mom getting her hands dirty.

Olivia's pumpkin, she asked for bats, I couldn't get a good picture of it lit up.

Dad's pumpkin, a USB symbol...geek! hahaha.

Mom's pumpkin

Carter's pumpkin, he specifically asked for a happy pumpkin, he's a stickler at following tradition! LOL

Our little family of pumpkins.

Pumpkin Hunt 2010

For the second year we took the kids to Butterfield Acres for a Pumpkin Hunt, we went with some friends and had a great time, it wasn't snowy which was good, but still a bit chilly.

Getting ready for our hay ride out to the woods.

Petting the Donkey, Carter wasn't a big fan.

Playing in the pumpkins

As we were leaving we saw this goat, he was munching on some left over food in one of the wagons, look's like he'd like a ride too!

More Milestones

We don't experience as many milestones now that the kids are getting bigger, but this one shows us that they're getting taller and that they listen (a little bit better, not always!) They now can sit on the stools at the island to have some meals, this day came so quickly, it's not a huge milestone, but it's a meaningful one, they're not babies anymore, they're getting to be big kids!

Playing in the Leaves

One of my fondest memories as a kid were the forts and houses we made with the rediculous amounts of leaves we had in our neighbourhood. Sadly we don't have very many leaves that stay in our yard in the fall, but we had just enough between the neighbours yard and ours to rake together a small pile for the kids to play in.

Leaf Angels!

Rolling down the hill.

The pure joy makes me smile!
