Christmas 2009!

We had a really great Christmas this year, the kids were so excited and so were we!

Tracking Santa on Norad, the kids loved being able to sit at the computer, Carter just kept saying Santa, Santa!!!

Our family tradition is to open one gift Christmas Eve and it's always Pj's. Carter has a new really funny cheese face, very asian! LOL

Working on the milk and cookies for Santa

These were moved after the kids were in bed, the dogs would have made quick work of them!

After the kids were in bed Cy and I continued to track Santa, and we discovered the South Sandwhich Islands.....who knew!!! LOL

Christmas Morning

Checking out his new dump truck book.

Smelling her Strawberry shortcake doll, that smell sure does bring back memories!

Showing off his Transformers Cartoon set

There was nobody around to take a picture of my stash, so I did a self portrait. hahaha

Mid-morning Pickup Hockey game

Olivia figured she could take daddy if she used two hockey sticks.

Gramma and grampa came over for breakfast and Carter decided grampa needed some decorations!

Carter's very first Christmas cracker!

This is him making fun of me, he really didn't want to smile!

Playing in their new tent from the Doucettes

They got the Crazy Forts set from Gramma and Grampa, it's really cool, but daddy doesn't like having little helpers that steal the poles and balls while he's trying to put it together! But the kids love it!

Demanding a ride from poor Yeh Yeh, she abused him all afternoon today, but she had so much fun, and told daddy at bedtime that she really likes her Yeh Yeh, Mah Mah, and uncle Curtis. So cute!

Taking pictures with her new digital camera, we haven't checked the pictures yet, but I'm really looking forward to seeing pictures from her point of view!

More singing and blowing out candles.

We had decorate your own cupcakes instead of a big cake, Liv just kept talking about putting sprinkles on her cake so we figured this worked best!

hahaha, the look on Dayton's face says it all, I don't think she wants Carters plate and crumbs! LOL

More tea party play with Yeh Yeh & Daddy

Olivia's Birthday Part One

For the last three years we've celebrated Liv's birthday with friends at the end of November, being so close to Christmas it's hard to get everyone together. So here is part 1 of her birthday (the friend party)

This was my little Diva at the end of the night all dressed in her presents.

We started the day with strawberry pancakes (the theme of the day was PINK!)

Some pictures of Liv opening her fabulous gifts, thanks again to everyone! She loves them!!

The great cake that our friend Ashley made for Olivia, tasted fantastic too!!

You can see she was shy when everyone was singing to her, it was really cute!

Most of the kiddies munching on cupcakes

Parents relaxing after most of the chaos was done....

I'm Stronger!

The kids wanted an orange and Olivia asked if she could peel it, I said sure, so here is the progression of the peeling on her part, and the excitement on Carters part. But the most precious part of all of this was when Carter was squealing with delight as Olivia peeled it, and she said, "Car car I do it cause I'm stronger", mommy got a bit wheepie! So Cute!
