4 Months Already!

Look at me, I'm four months old, aren't I precious! Actually it looks like she's already starting to pose for the camera LOL. Her personality is taking shape more and more each day, she's really laid back like her daddy, she loves to laugh and play and is starting to be a ham for the camera (she's forced to be, the poor thing has the camera in her face 24/7).

Cute As A Bug

So I have to give credit for this frame to Michelle, I stole this idea from her. But I created it for Lindsay, a co-worker of mine that just had a little girl named Scarlett. I didn't have the stamps that Michelle had so I used those foamies, they're fabulous!

Oh So Close....

Olivia is SO close to rolling over. I put her on her blankie from Auntie Nicky today so I could take a picture to show everyone, when you put her on her back she pushes with her left leg and kinda balances with her head and sholder, she just needs a little push and she's over. I've tried showing her how to throw her leg over but she just thinks I'm playing and giggles at me. Oh yes, she's giggling now too, forgot to post about that one. It's this rather funny sounding screech/giggle noise, but it's darn cute. She's changing every day, the baby is slowing slipping away and the toddler is emerging...how the heck did she grow so quickly? Where was I when she was doing this !

Not So Sure of the Cereal

So I've started giving Olivia rice cereal....ok, started "Trying" to give her cereal, as you can see, she's not sure of it right now. It's watered down so much that it's practically soup, but she can still feel the change in the consistency of it. Just as picky as mom, too bad eh! But we're trying a little at a time and this morning went a bit better than last week. But it's quite funny when she's sitting watching us eating dinner and watching the fork go from our plates to our mouths it's really cute.

Puppy Love

Our pupps were our first children. So we still hold a soft squishy part in our heart for them. This is them being all cute n' cuddly the other nite, I couldn't get the camera quietly enough to get the picture of Gimli with his arms around becker as they were sleeping, but I like this picture way better. I think I'll be making it into a scrapbook page. And then of course since Olivia is the star of this blog, I had to add in one of her cuddling with her brothers. Compared to the last picture of her and the dogs lying around she's getting
pretty big, soon she'll be lying all over them instead!

Creative Days

So a couple weeks ago, Emma, Jen and I went and did a class at U B the Artist in McKenzie town. We had so much fun and learned the most amazing craft, Glass Fusion. This is a picture of the coaster I made, it's orange, red and a deep turqoise. It was really easy to make but so amazing to be able to create something from your own mind in glass instead of buying something that looks cool in a store for double the price! Needless to say I will be going back, you can make all sorts of things, they have night light kits, necklace kits, and then they have just different shapes of base glass that you can add colors and shapes to, or you can create everything from scratch, it's fabulous.

As well, last week on my b-day Cy, Olivia and I went back to the same shop and created a butterfly tile for Olivia's room. We used her little tootsies to create the wings for the butterfly and then I filled in the body and accents. It turned out perfectly, its red and black (the red looks a little pink here) but it'll hang up in her room and I hope that she can appreciate it for at least a couple years till it embarrasses her when she's a teenager! LOL

Then last night Emma, Carrie and I wen to Michelle's for a card making night, (we had a blast by the way, thanks Michelle it was awesome!) And we created these three cards, isn't Michelle amazing! She pulls these ideas from that fabulous brain of hers! And if I do say so myself, my cards look pretty darn cute, and I'm rather proud of them.

And last night was Olivia and Alyssa's first official sleepover, they slept in the same room and seemed to enjoy each others company, we didn't even have to go up and break up any giggle fests or anything! Such well behaved girls, much more behaved that the girls downstairs for sure! LOL!!!

Mmmmm .... Razzamaberry

I DUB THEE DROOL QUEEN !

Olivia isn't quite teething yet, but her gums must be itchy, she puts everything in her mouth now, and rubs it on her gums, when you put a soother in her mouth she leans into it so much she almost does a header on the floor. So when I was at the mom & tots fair a couple weeks ago I picked her up a Razzamaberry (at least that's what we call it) it's a teething soother that looks like a rasberry with all the little bumps for their gums, but the whole thing is soft and squishy for her to chew on. She absolutely loves it, but you should see the drool puddle she creates when she's munching on it. It's crazy!

JUMP JUMP....Everybody...JUMP JUMP

It's official, Olivia LOVES her jolly jumper. She goes crazy in it. We put her in it about two weeks ago to see if she was ready. The first time she kinda moved her feet a bit and twirled on one foot. But now she's got the hang of it and just loves it, she spends her time flying all over the place, yelling and laughing and beating the puppies when they're within reach. So it's a really great resource when mom's trying to make dinner and Olivia's antsy for daddy to get home. My little girl is growing So fast!!! :(

The Easter Bunny Came !!

So the easter bunny came for Olivia this year, her first time and she's not old enough for chocolate... bummer! But he did leave her this schmoopy ball that she loves to squish and chew on.

Happy Easter !!!

Since it's Olivia's first easter, we decided to have a bit of fun with her. She enjoyed herself thru most of it but as you can see in one of the pictures she got a bit annoyed, I couldn't help but put up a bunch of them (proud mom, what can I say).

Anyway, I hope all of you have a fabulous Easter Weekend, take the time to enjoy your friends and family, and Happy Spring!! (just don't look outside, pretend the snow isn't there!)
