Butterfly Garden & Hullabazoo

On Mothers Day weekend I took the kids to the Zoo, our intention was to get to the Butterfly Garden because we read a book called Fancy Nancy Bonjour Butterfly. The character Fancy Nancy goes to the butterfly garden and Olivia keeps saying she'd like to go, and I hadn't realized that when they re-did the conservatory at the Zoo that they'd kept the butterfly garden. Hulabazoo was also going on and so the kids got to do some other fun things, it was a beautiful morning and we had a great time!

Carter playing his first mini-golf

Liv's hole in 10 or so.

The kids were yelling at the geese to come over to us, hahah the more the kids yelled the farther they got, go figure!

Carter stopped at EVERY listening station there was, he'd push the button and listen forever!

Stopping to smell the pretty flowers

Walking thru the Conservatory, so warm and smelled wonderful!

Some butterflies from the garden

Olivia pointing out the butterflies to Carter

Olivia was getting upset cause she wanted a butterfly to land on her finger like in the book, she chased a couple around but the closest we got was touching their wings as they sat on the leaves.

Checking out the little creek in the conservatory.
