3 Months & Counting !

Time flies when your having fun, and also when you have a baby! The first 2 months were a haze as they blew by, but thankfully this last month took a bit longer to go by so I really got to enjoy the little changes everyday. Olivia is holding her head up 99.9% of the time all by herself, she's a little wobbly when she wakes up but who isn't!! She loves reading her squishy books and sitting in her bounce and rock chair and she's talking....ALL THE TIME!! She's just like her mom, can't keep her mouth shut, right daddy!

Ready for the Weather!

Anyone else as sick of this weather as we are? Olivia and I are itching to get outside and go for walks and enjoy the fresh air. She likes to look out the window right now and she's trying to show me that she's ready to go out with her cool hat but no such luck today!

Bookworm

We've discovered Olivia is a bit of a bookworm. She loves looking at her Clifford book that Auntie Jenn & Uncle Trev gave her but she's never really interacted with it much...until now! We propped her and the book up in her bouncy chair a couple days ago for the first time, and now she's become this total bookworm. She sits for quite a while flipping thru the pages, yelling at the pictures and pulling on the little flaps. She also likes chewing on the pages, but hey, who doesn't enjoy a "good book" LOL (sorry bad joke, couldn't help myself!)

This Thing Corners Like It's On Rails !

We've had some pretty fun days around the house lately, so I figured I'd show you them via a billion pictures, ok just a couple but it seems like a lot.

Olivia's doing really well on her tummy time lately and her neck is getting stronger so we've taken to putting her in an assortment of seats. She likes being in her high chair and watching mom make her bottles in the morning, although it seems to me that she's done with the bottles and is ready for solids in this picture (whaddya mean I've gotta wait a couple more months!!!)

And yesterday we decided to bring up her bouncy car from the basement. I wanted to see if she'd like it, as you can see, she did. Of course we had to do a bit of tweaking, there's a tupperware container underneath her feet so they reach and she's padded to the hilt with blankets (we call those baby air bags LOL) so she wont wobble all over.


Otherwise mom and dad are doing ok, mom's still trying to get over this bug she's got, and dad is still pouting because the Flames lost on saturday.

OUCH, That Hurts !!!

So this past week Olivia had her first shots. Needless to say, I was more terrified than she was. I'm proud of myself, I didn't cry, but I sure wanted to! She got three needles, two in one hip and one in the other. She SCREAMED at me, she was so mad, I swear that she's gonna remember this when she's older!!! And everyone told us they'd have this bell that we could ring that would distract her from her crying.....um ya, WHAT BELL??? No bell for us, nothing, nadda, just me holding back my tears as this lady punctures my babies hips with a needle the size of a crayon!! ok, well it wasn't that big, but pretty darn close.

But I'm glad to report that she didn't have any side effects, no fever or anything. Her hips didn't even seem to be sore the next day. So hopefully next time her shots will go better, less crying and preferably a smaller needle :)

Me and My Brothers

This morning we decided that we needed another picture of Olivia and her brothers. It helps show how much she's grown in the last couple months (I swear it's all cheeks!!) Enjoy!

Hanging with mom....Literally!

So I wanted to post a picture of Olivia and I using our cuddly wrap. I've had requests from some of the other moms I know about what it looks like and such. So here she is! She even put on her pretty bracelette for the picture. She really enjoys being in it, when I turn her around so she's facing me she falls asleep instantly! And when she's facing out, her legs and arms are always kicking and flying about!!!
