The Easter Bunny Came !!

So the easter bunny came for Olivia this year, her first time and she's not old enough for chocolate... bummer! But he did leave her this schmoopy ball that she loves to squish and chew on.

Since it's Olivia's first easter, we decided to have a bit of fun with her. She enjoyed herself thru most of it but as you can see in one of the pictures she got a bit annoyed, I couldn't help but put up a bunch of them (proud mom, what can I say).

Busy Weekend For Olivia

So this weekend has been a very social weekend for Olivia and us. Friday we were at Auntie Jenn and Uncle Trev's place with Auntie Em for dinner and she met Iggy face to face.

And then on Saturday we had Auntie Amanda and Uncle Ryan over for dinner, Olivia likes Amanda but she's not so sure of Ryan...LOL, sorry Ry, had to show it.

We had a really good week too. We went and met up with Yoga Jen and her little guy Jasper for coffee on Wednesday and then we went for a visit to Airdrie to see Auntie Renee and Danni. Then yesterday we went to the Mom & Tot fair. What a great place, not very stroller friendly, but great products and nic-nacks. Grandma Favreau bought Olivia a fabulous black hoodie with a Gun's n Roses type picture on the back that says "It's all about me right now" and she also bought her a pair of baby banz sunglasses. Daddy says she looks like a thug, I say biker babe! We'll post pictures when we have them.

Mr. Roboto Version 2.0

He made the threat, and now he's followed thru......Cy made a full suit of armor for Olivia out of the excess coke boxes we had sitting around. She patiently waited while dad "fitted" her for her armor and then she christened it by drooling on it. Too bad it's made of paper, not fit for drool.

You've Created a Monster!!!!

I thought I'd post my favorite scrapbook page that I've created so far. It's rather simple but I'm proud of it. (the orange around the edge isn't the actual paper, it's sitting on my album, so the page is just the green part). I'd like to blame this on Michelle but sadly, it's not entirely her fault, I've become addicted to scrapbooking, granted I'm only a beginner. But Michelle helped me make a book for Olivia's first year, and all I had to do was put in pictures and write-ups on her progress. But aparently that wasn't enough for me, I had to jump in with both feet, and now I'm hooked. You can find me lurking in the isles of Michaels a couple days a week and I salivate at the thought of their 40% off coupons coming in the flyers each week. So just a shout out to Michelle, thanks girl you rock!!! Enjoy!

Mr. Roboto....

Ok.....Miss. Roboto.......We can't help but torture our little girl. She's so much fun to play with, and she's so patient with us picking on her. Cy happend to be cleaning up the pop cans and decided to turn her in to a robot, he's threatened to create a whole body suit out of boxes for her.....LOL !!!!

Holding On For Dear Life

So Olivia's legs are getting pretty strong, and she's taken to standing (wobbling) on our laps when you hold her by the armpits. So Cy stood her on the floor today, MAN does she look short, but SO cute! So we propped her up infront of the ottoman and she happily stood there for a couple minutes watching tv. Granted she has this little booty dance she does, and sometimes she looks like Elvis thrusting her pelvis in and out (quite funny to watch!) but she's "standing" nonetheless!
