Stampede 2010 - The Animals!!

We took the kids down to the grounds on a beautiful day this year, we got there early so we hit up the animals first.

Olivia asked why the cows here SO BIG?















We even milked a cow!












Carter didn't want to pet the goats, they looked sketchy!











Olivia and I kept talking about how cute the donkeys were....what did carter have to say....." Look Mommy, Poop!"












The sheep were cute too













I can't get over how beautiful the Bud Clydsdales are, they're SO big, but so pretty!















We went into the barns next, and aparently we have two City Mice. They didn't like the smell!














Olivia was super excited to try roping a steer.












and on her first try she did it!













These pony's were so cute, this one cept licking Liv's hand, at one point it tried for a bit more but mommy ripped her hand out of the way, guess I'm a bit of a city mouse myself!












We have a picture of Cy doing this last year, maybe next year we'll get carter on there.

Carter couldn't stop pushing buttons and pulling levers inside the cockpit, he LOVED it!












Liv was so proud of herself.












Typical of Cy, he gets pulled in by all the infomercials, I didn't realize the kids were just like him! LOL













This is what happens when you leave your mini doughnuts in the wagon with Olivia, she makes her own doughnut holes! hahaha.

Stampede 2010 - The Rides!

Olivia wanted to go on EVERY ride, Carter...not so much.

The first ride we went on was the big wavy slide, both kids enjoyed it, even tho carter made some squeamish noises as we were going down, he said after that it was fun.

This ride, not so fun, I thought Carter would be ok with Olivia beside him, but aparently not, I couldn't even tell he was upset till the operator stopped the ride and asked if he wanted to get off! Poor guy, but I brought him into the back with me and he was fine sitting beside mommy driving the truck.

The Roller Coaster, Liv even wanted to go on the kiddie drop of doom, she was tall enough but mommy wasn't ready for her to do it, I think she missed out tho, cause I'm sure she would have loved it!

Stampede!!! Yaaaa Hoooo!!!

We took the kids down to the grounds on the second friday of Stampede this year, Olivia loved the animals and Carter just hung out as usual, it'll be different for him next year when he can walk and interact with everything better, but we all had lots of fun anyway!


Carters first train ride (out of mommy's tummy) and Olivia's second, they loved watching everything fly by, and Olivia kept asking "what's that noise?" every time the train would bing for the next stop! LOL

Carter was ok with riding the pony, but Olivia would have nothing to do it with!












Cutest little piglets!! We all wanted to take one home till we saw the 4 month old pig beside them was HUGE already! LOL

These Clydwsdales were beatiful....ginormous but beautiful, look how tiny Olivia is compared to him, hahaha look how tiny CY is compared to him!!!

hahahaha, I couldn't help but sneak this picture, I'm sure there's a reason for this nice gentleman sitting in the penn reading a newspaper but it was funny nonetheless!

Riding the merry go round











Liv loved the slides, as soon as we got to the bottom she started heading for the stairs yelling again again!!!!























We wanted to play a couple games with the kids so we did some fishing and then we did this one, mommy helped Olivia win two sqeaky hammers for her and Carter.










The hammers have spent A LOT of time in the basement, it didn't take long before tears were had on both sides!!! LOL

Stampede 2008

We didn't end up taking too many pictures while we were at the grounds, we didn't even get one of Carter but these are the few we did take.

This is Olivia's very first ride, if you take a good look at the picture she's very VERY mad, the ride hadn't even started yet, she was upset cause dad was keeping her in her seat, she wanted to stand up.







And this is while the ride is moving, the instant the ride started she was all smiles, we're so proud we have a thrill ride daughter, just like her mom and dad!
